LifeTite Metal Products offers a premium Butyl Tape that is a high quality, trim-able joint and end lap sealing tape developed for use in the metal building industry and supplied by Carrington-Specialty / GSSI.
It has excellent adhesion to most clean, dry metal surfaces and does not harden, bleed or stain. With pressure, it fills minor irregularities in the surface and seals the joints providing an effective barrier against water, moisture, dust and dirt. This tape can also be used to seal around windows, doors, roof vents, stacks, access doors and other penetration points.
